CREATIVE SCULPTING COURSE
Experience the sensation of mastering and shaping this material while learning to indulge in its nature, all in the unrepeatable setting of the Carrara Quarries in the heart of the Apuan Alps: a never before offered opportunity!
It is an experience aimed at everyone, those who are approaching the world of sculpture for the first time and those who want to refine their technique.
You will be taken directly inside the marble basins where the sculpture workshop is located, where artists work daily to shape this wonderful material beloved by Michelangelo.
The master sculptor will be present throughout the course and will accompany you in choosing your marble stone, which you will go on to carve with pneumatic and hand tools.
After a brief introduction, the master sculptor will follow each individual participant in carrying out the activity of rough-hewing and unmolding.
The engraving of the marble flake will remain with the participants as a souvenir of the experience.
The course lasts 4h with time to be arranged
- Transfer by private van to the quarry site of the sculpture workshop
- Presence for the entire period of a master sculptor
- Use of pneumatic and hand tools
- Personal protective equipment (earmuffs, gloves, goggles and masks)
- Marble flake
- Hot and cold drinks
- Pick up at the hotel
- Lunch
